This tasty rice treat
is sure to please even the finickiest of eaters in your home.
Fancy Rice
| Ingredients
List:
1/2 cup split peas
1 cup wild brown rice
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 mixed nuts |
1
tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 banana
3-4 cups water |
Recipe
Instructions:
Using a large sauce pan (with a
lid), combine all in greadients except the banana. In a seperate
bowl mash the banana and then incorporate it into the mixture. Bring
mixture to a boil then cover with a lid and simmer as directed by
cooking instructions for the rice. You may spice up this recipe
with a few additions of your own, my parrot enjoys substituting
the peas with small carrot squares. |
